Go in the strength you have
Your weakness was part of God's plan all along.
“God is not interested in answering our questions about the past; He is focused on what is coming next. The very thing that we think disqualifies (or discourages) us from serving God in our role is exactly why He chooses us.” Graham Cook
I could ask you if you’ve ever had a day where you stop and say to yourself, ‘I just can’t do this anymore… I don’t have what it takes,’ but I already know the answer. Of course you have. We all have those thoughts that we aren’t qualified for (fill in the blank: being a mom, that new job you just got, that dream that you can’t let go of). But, that doesn’t matter. In fact, your weakness was part of God’s plan for you all along. God intends for this to be part of your victory. You can’t rely on your experience and efforts. You can’t rely totally on your own strength and abilities. So don’t try to.
You GET to lean on the Lord for his answers to the things you are going through. I believe you will receive fresh insight from the Lord- directly from the Lord- without relying on what has already been done in the past. God wants to do a NEW thing in these last days.
God is going to draw you deeper in every circumstance you are faced with. That will be your strength. God SEES you. Just as he saw Gideon hiding in the winepress, who by earthly standards didn’t have the experiences or expected qualifications to defeat armies. He was called a Valiant Warrior by God and was called to a very specific leadership position (Judges 6:11-16). Just as YOU are called to your current position. He will lead you through all the things you’re faced with. One day at a time.
Matthew 28:20 “And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
It’s easy for us to SAY things like ‘God is with you always,’ but when you really stop to think about what that means and focus on that, it’s pretty awesome to realize all that we can truly rely on him for. After all, that is the very last thing Jesus said to his disciples as he sent them off to do ministry, so it MUST be important.
So just go in the strength you have and remember that His power shows up best in weak people so that no one will confuse our victory with our own human ability. God has a name for you that you are known by in the heavenly, and that is your goal. Gideon, mighty warrior. {Insert Your Name}, friend, heir with Christ, saint, wise, temple of the Holy Spirit, chosen, bold, free.
You have been called to your position, and while it will always have its ups and downs, God has some amazing things ahead for you. I know it.
